Bridge Financial Application

Bridge is an Android application that is aiming to help SMB’s (Small/Medium Businesses) to better document and process their operational costs, and to make better decisions. Bridge is an application that will allow for communication between Six degrees consultancy to enable consultants to provide better business decisions to the owner. The Android application will allow the owner to scrape data from M-PESA SMS’ about the business transactions, and then categorize them into the different sections according to the need. The Owner will also be able to invite employees into the application and all the information that is collected from the owner and the employees will be visible on a Dashboard with pre-defined graphs. These graphs will be visible by the Consultancy, and a chat interface will be provided initially to allow the 2 parties to communicate with each other. The users of the application will need to be of 3 different types: Owner - who can see all the information that is presented by the employees and themselves on the dashboard Employee - who can only input information into the application Consultant - who is associated with a business, and can see the dashboard of that business. In order to attract more users into the application, Bridge is offering a promotional offer that will allow business owners to apply for loans through 6 degrees. Upon sign up/ the business owner usertype will be able to apply for a loan, through an application process, which will be further specified in the user stories.
