We are a UK software house, and we have a content management product which we use to buiild sites for publishers. It is developed in ASP. We have sold the product to a US publisher in San Franscisco and want to find a local developer or software house to support the Client. They would have to learn about the software, try to help the client if there are any problems outside UK working hours, and would be asked to develop or change ASP templates to complement the initial site development. Support capability is as important as development skill, and as we have to offer support in California hour we need the programmer to understand SQL Server, IIS etc, so that if something goes wrong they have a chance to get the Client online again. This is not a full time job but would involve the equivalent of maybe one day each week. The key is to be there for the client if things go wrong. We think it would be better if you could occasionally meet the client so we want a local.
