I would like to have an ebook compiler/generator created that would enable me to create compiled html ebooks that run on Windows 95/98/2000/XP.
The ebook compiler will need to generate an executable file that can be customised by the creator, to include a number of standard compiler features:
Generation of a secured .exe file that can be protected by a password and/or be run on a single machine only based on hardware configuration, or username/password or any combination of the above.
This executable must also be rebrandable using a customised rebranding application.
The ebook compiler must be able to safely compile any file that Internet Explorer is capable of displaying, including HTML, DHTML, Gif images and animations, JPEG and PNG graphics, Javascript, VBScript, Java applets, and all I.E. plug-ins including Flash.
The compiler should allow users to compile directories and subdirectories of HTML and supporting files into a single file that is not extracted to a temporary directory on execution of the copiled file (Important).
I require fully annotated c++ source code for the compiler.
Preference will be given to developers who are able to demonstrate previous experience developing a similar application.
Existing compilers can be used to model this application.
