I need to do MATLAB simulation to study the use of game theory in profiling different nodes that exist in a MANET. Regular, selfish, and malicious nodes are all considered to exist in the modeled network. A simple idea on the terms that are used in the title for those who are not familiar with the topic.
Manet is a type of network that requires no rigid topology meaning no need for routers or central Station to communicate between nodes. That means I need can create a network using three phones or three laptops or the mix of both without the need for a router. So each node will act as a receiver and sender.
Game theory is a mathematical theory that is based on the probability of gains and costs. So each situation is considered to be a game where each node’s adopted strategy may or may not affect the outcome of the other nodes adopted strategies depending on which approach we choose to follow.
The report is attached, it has a better explanation for the whole study.
