We are an art collective called Glasshouse, and are creating an artwork for the Southbank Centre’s The Web We Want Festival.([login to view URL])
As part of the artwork, we would like you to send 100 postcards to a UK Address: Web We Want Festival, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London, SE1 8XX.
The postcards should be a standard size (105mm × 148mm) and can have any image on the front.
Your bid should be a total price including your cost for the postcards, stamps, writing the postcards, and sending them.
Please handwrite the following on each postcard, inserting the amount of money you were paid for the task, and the amount of money you think the postcard is worth in the last sentence:
Dear Web We Want Festival,
To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the Web, I would love you to present ‘The Work We Want’ project by the Glasshouse team. They won 3rd prize at Hack The Space for their art that explored global economies of labour, and their work is definitely worth sharing with the world.

I have made a cost calculation:
100 postcards x 0,70 Euro = 70 Euro
100 cards x B stamps(Europe) á 0,78 Eur = 78 Euro
For the handwriting I´ll need some 3 hours (á 12Eur/hour - they incl. taking them to the post office). Total budget : Eur 184,- (GBP 147,68.-). I have to ask for payment in advance at least of the postcards and the stamps. ( EUR 148 or GBP 119).
Since this is for an special event, do you also need special postcards? (I´m in Barcelona - there is a huge and varied offer of them) or any other special request? Finally, this can be done in one day.

I'm not even sure why I'm bidding for this project. Thing is, I really love the concept! It's original and i'm just so very curious. probably because I thought I was the last person on earth who actually STILL sends postcards I really like them. Hell, I even collect them! So if you like Spain/Malaga, you might receive 100 postcards from beautiful Costa del Sol! As i said, I am quite an expert myself in postcard-ing.
I will put together the post cards with mailing addresses and post them for delivery.
This bid includes the cost of postage which is .6 x 100 = 60 for 100 stamps.
