The task is the following: Look up patent grants in the US and extract the highest granting number (7-digit arabian number) per date given as described in the excel list. How to do that: Go to [login to view URL] Look at the dates in the attached table. Insert such a date in the correct format: type in "isd/12/25/1973" in case you look for Dec 25, 1973, etc. Search for the results. Then move forward until you'll find the highest number (use the jump forward function, it helps you save time once you know in which range the results appear). The number I am looking for is always the first seven-digit number as you'll see in my sample file. You'll need about 4 hours for this task.
