Hi Excel Experts!
I was wondering if you might help me with an Excel issue I've been having? Perhaps if I describe my issue and attach the files I need help with, you could let me know whether you can envision an appropriate solution as well as the price you would charge me to implement this solution. Sound good? Alrighty then:
I'd like to be able to take any Excel file which is structured like the attached [login to view URL] and apply a macro, or filter, or program or whatever and clip out columns in batches of 4, and paste them onto the bottom of existing columns, while at the same time copying and pasting the spreadsheet's first two columns (A and B) which will always be copied with the clipped 4-column batch. Let me explain:
As per the attached [login to view URL], (have a quick look please) I'd like to take columns G, H, I and J and drop them down to the bottom of rows C, D, E and F, while bringing a copy of columns A and B with them.
Next, I'd like to take columns K, L, M, and N and drop those down to the bottom of the newly populated C, D, E and F columns, (bringing along a copy of the same corresponding columns A and B)
After that, I'd like the macro (or whatever) to continue with columns O, P, Q and R, using the same logic and A & B copying; and repeat this formula all the way through to column Z.
The formula you create will have to be able to replicate this same cutting, copying and pasting regardless of the number of rows contained within the file, which will vary, and could reach into the hundreds. The column order, number of columns and column headings will always stay the same. The finished product will look like the attached '[login to view URL]', containing only the 6 populated fields, A-F.
