Self-powered wireless sensor system for Personal Health monitoring

MANY THANKS FOR YOUR COOPERATION TOPIC: The aim of the project is to design and develop a self-powered wireless personal health monitoring system which can be used for patients or elderly people either at home or in a caring facility. This system will enable the family or the staff to be updated regarding the health of an individual so that in case of emergency when the patient or elderly person is unable to call for help, the wearable alert the people who can provide help. Another problem for these wireless devices is their batteries discharging. For charging the batteries, the device needs to plug in to the mains through an adapter which is cumbersome and in case of the group of people intended to use the device are less likely to maintain these devices with regular charging. The proposed solution is to harness the ambient light or body heat to recharge the batteries so the operational time of the device can be extended.
