Gender in Infrastructure Project

Scenario We encourage you to use your imagination to think about a scenario (and fill in any blanks) where your office is in discussion with a brand new donor on establishing a partnership for a transport and roads infrastructure project. The donor, whom your office has not worked with previously, is well known for prioritising gender and social inclusion in their development initiatives, but not so well known for their work in transport and roads infrastructure. The roads will have to link two rural villages (Village A and Village B), approximately 10km apart, which to date, have only had a dirt road connecting them. Many people use this dirt road to get from Village A to Village B in order to access essential and basic services to meet their various needs. At present there is no public transportation options to connect the two villages. Most people either commute by foot, bicycle or by motorcycle. Deliverable The design or sketches (maximum of three images total, each file to be a maximum of 10 MB).
