Transmitter Location Algorithm

Previous experience calculating emitter locations and Jamming to signal ratios for cell signals for electronic warfare applications while supporting the US Navy. Locations techniques for this project are very similar and have years of coding experience in Matlab and various other languages. The relative power change can used to calculate the different distances and the distances from the different relative locations will eventually pinpoint the signal.

As I understood the problem consists of two almost independent parts. 1) Develop an algorithm which provides an approximate lat/lon location of the transmitter. 2) Testing the algorithm in Matlab framework. The first part is a simple math, but the second needs a set of observation to be applied. I suppose to do this work in a week.
