Find Information from Websites

Magento requires necessary information whilst Mayfair has necessary information for their business process i.e. the weight of a product to calculate the delivery charge. As we know unfortunately the suppliers are reluctant to supply the data in the format that we require. The problem is that each supplier sends it differently so it will be a case of the data specialists going through and seeing how it has been supplied. The purpose of the data specialists will be to convert the existing data into a format applicable for Magento. It will be a case of going through each supplier and adding the product information into an excel spreadsheet. In an ideal world they would add the products into the excel spreadsheet named "Export all products" and follow the comments I have added. In the event that this is too complex then we may need to enter them manually. In the event that the specialists can use the more complex spreadsheet can I ask that the following is done: If a product is available in more than one colour or size please enter a product for each colour/size available entering the product type as "Simple" in column D. You will then need to create a "Configurable" product which will be the overall Product. It is maybe easier to explain by looking at the attached spreadsheet. The product on row 2 is a configurable product which is available in Small Blue, Medium Blue, Large Blue, Small Red, Medium Red and Large Red and these have been documented in rows 3 to 8.
