Hi there!
Ex-E-commerce guy here. During 2018 I ran a short test to get a feel of running an e-commerce business in India.
My shopify store was focused at Motorcycle Enthusiasts around the country. It was a short run, but successful in its own right.
I was able to identify and bucket audience groups, bring down CPA and decrease the Rate of Returns. (My rate of returns at its best was 25%, thanks to COD - at the time industry was averaging at 28-32%, I think?)
All my marketing efforts were on Facebook and IG, which were more than enough to bring me sales.
Before that, I did dabble in selling t-shirts on *mydreamstore*, I had just sold my first few t-shirts, the typical "Legends are born in Jan" and Beard designs across No-shave November, when they closed down access to new affiliates.
I've also sold a few on tee-spring and helped my friends in their e-commerce gigs as well.
I've a few learnings from my e-Commerce experiences and would like to put them to use.
Do drop a line if you'd like to work together.
Best,
