Please find below an example of my writing in the genre of fantasy. It always looks as if moondown looms over Kaqui’s Land of Nightmares and Phantoms, and most times olive-grey clouds camouflage her Watchtower which is set atop a seemingly, never-ending, vertical, rock face. Kaqui’s Castle is a series of intricately woven caverns spun through the mountain rock; an internal network of tracks, tunnels and steps, spanning up and down, this way and that, in a haphazard cobweb shape. Kaqui is in the uppermost cavern, the Watchtower. The overcrowded room looks like the interior of an Antiquity Museum, with macabre artefacts littering the entire floor, hiding the walls, and hanging precariously from the ceiling. Kaqui, blending in with the rest of the room, is busily peering through the outermost and uppermost window, with a Gargoyle perched on each of her shoulders. Annoyed Kaqui hisses and swats at the Gargoyles. “Get the agony off me and go guard the doors,” she snarls. She brushes the Gargoyles off her shoulders as if they were as insignificant as a wheelie bug in a igrain of dust. Quickly the Gargoyles do her bidding, but needless to say, the tattoo-chain on their ankles keep them bound to Kaqui’s wide waist. Banished to the open archway on the other side of the Watchtower the Gargoyle Shoulder Generals patrol and guard both sides of the door. They hold in their hands a spear which they use to look ferocious and fierce, as they pace back and forth.

Let's say the only significant person in his life was his mother. And why did I have to meet her? Simple, cause we were getting serious. So we packed our bags and begun the journey of a thousand miles, hehehe so cliché, I'm I right or I'm I right? His mother lived all the way in Slint city, while we lived in Lista city. Only difference was Slint is the modern version of New York as opposed to Lista that personified Texas. Like the hell was I even born for Lista? Truth to be told I only agreed to meeting his mom, for in more ways than one, I had envisioned myself in a fast paced city. It did not help matters one bit when I found out that Justin is a southern type of guy, wanting to know all his neighbors, leaving in a closed off community and ready to start a family. I'm not complaining, for the most part I wanted children too, but did it have to be Lista? Chant with me, we want Slint, we want Slint. Now you can imagine how ecstatic I was to travel to the land that never sleeps, a business hub you may call it. We arrived at the huge mansion and to think that we were struggling to survive while his mother was filthy rich but seriously just rich will do it.
