Hello - I run a local news site based in Brooklyn, and I am looking for a webmaster to pay on a monthly basis to keep the site up and running, as well as perform necessary updates. This will not require much time, I just need someone who is highly responsive, who we can call if the site goes down (which happens about twice a year) and will quickly get it back up. I would also like to make a few small modifications to the design of the website. For example, I would like to add a "further reading" section that users see when reading an article, that suggests other articles for them to read, and provides a link for the user to navigate to the articles. It just needs to display our most recent articles on the right side of the page. Check out the Washington Post or the New York Times for an example of what this looks like. We can negotiate a monthly fee for the webmaster work, as well as a fee for making a few changes to the website. It would be great to hire someone local in Brooklyn or Queens, but I am open to all offers. Thanks!
