Add social media functionality (like, comment etc.) and more to existing news app

Current status of the app: I have a mobile app that pulls articles from my Wordpress Blog through JSON which I would like to improve from a technical point of view, but also concerning the design and overall user experience of it. I pointed out the most important/probably most difficult features I would like to add in the title of the project. Please answer what five minus two is and put the answer at the very top of your offer, so I know you actually read this text. For further clarification and to see all the features I would like to have in this app, please see below. Also I created an invisionapp.com-prototype, which I will give you access to individually. - Social Media functionality just like in the Facebook app, I would like the user to have the possibility to - COMMENT, - LIKE, - SHARE, - LIKE COMMENTS, - SAVE ARTICLES. The ability to comment on comments is not neccessary. Design should be like in the Facebook app. - Follow/Unfollow As I have more than 300 newsfeeds combined in one app, I would like the user to have option to follow/unfollow certain feeds. Those feeds would be then combined and displayed in one single feed called “My Feed”. (Just like in any other app, where there is such a feature – Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter for example) - Following A section, where all the feeds the user is following is displayed. - Trending filter Sort articles by day,week and month based on the sum of how many times an article was commented, liked and saved. - Change design of the newsfeed (currently a quite simple looking UITableView) to the one of the facebook app. Only two differences: 1) Only display titles of posts (currently there is also a short excerpt of each one) 2) add parallax effect when there is an image in the feed (like in the Soundcloud app) - Add letter bar (like here: [login to view URL]) to the sidebar menu that contains the more than 300 alphabetically sorted newsfeeds I mentioned earlier. Have it slide in from the right when scrolling down. Also remove the arrows, that are currently there (you will see what I mean in the invision prototype) - Make UITableViewCell two lines instead of one Like here: [login to view URL] I would appreciate it if you could add another line to each cell. I would then fill the second line with words, so you do not waste your time on that.) - Push-Notification, when a) someone likes the user’s comment or b) someone comments as well on a post → maybe have an extra section for all notifications (I did not include that in the invision-prototype) c) let me send push notifications manually - implement iRate - When a post has an image and you tap the image it should become fullscreen and if there are multiple images the user should be able to swipe through the rest of the images. Also there should be an overlay on top of the image that somehow lets the user know it is possible to see a larger image. Please let me know what you think.
