As I understand it, you are looking for a free lancer to start a advertising campaign for your company. Please read through my proposal. I use a generic proposal but the process is the same.
I propose that we approach this in the following way:
1- We need to analyze the market your customer is in. I do this first because it tells us what the competition is doing and gives me a better understanding of what I need to do to make an advertising campaign that is unique and will stand out from your customers competition.
2- We need to look at what people have to say about you customers business. How we do this is create a quick and easy survey that we send out to your customers current, past and new customers. From there we analyze the results and the survey data will reveal what we will need to focus our advertising campaign.
3- Taking the data from the survey and the target area we need to focus on, and we use it to compare it to your customers Financials. We need to asses the past 24 months of financial records to compare the two separate databases to give us a better idea as to how much the company has made and lost. If the customer survey we did reveals for example, that there is a lack of customer service, then we will see the effect that it has financially to your customer.
4- From the comparison of the survey vs financial analysis we can then develop a marketing strategy. We then focus on developing the marketing strategy for a 24 month campaign. The marketing strategy will then give us a projected profit vs loss forcast and give your customer the peace of mind in knowing what it is we need to do to make sure that the marketing strategy is a success. Your customer will also benefit from the marketing strategy because it will give them a guide line as to whether or not they are improving on sales and wether the advertising campaign is effective or not.
5- We take the marketing strategy and we then come up with a creative, unique and economical advertising campaign. By analyzing the data from the previous steps we will be able to design and develop a advertising campaign that we can target in different areas. using the data we will have a better understanding of where we should be advertising i.e social networking, local media or running email campaigns, and wether we need to use a more forceful approach for example competition campaign.
6- Using our marketing strategy to compare the results from our advertising campaign we can analyze the penertration success of our advertising campaign to adjust the advertising criteria accordingly. This will ensure that your customer is seen as active and lively and will give them a unique appeal to their customers.
