Hi, I would add a passcode screen to the application for the user to enter his passcode. The passcode can be either numeric or alphanumeric, and will be stored inside the iOS keychain. This way the passcode is secure, and Touch ID can also be used to gain access to the device if supported. (iPhone 5S and up). If you specify the passcode, it will be compiled into the application in the form of a hash. I am an experienced iOS developer with 5 years work experience at a leading security firm.
