I want to assume that we are working with 8 bit numbers in binary, and will be building the program in Java. Since, you have mentioned that you have already completed the project in file 1, I would like to know which data structure did you use to maintain the stack(array list, array, heap, etc). I had taken data structures and assembly language last year at Hawaii Pacific University, and I have coded something very similar to your assignment. (instead of 8 bit numbers we used integers, thus did not need to worry about overflow). I would basically pick up where you left off, and complete the code.
