JQuery Resizable After Refresh

I am developing some calendar / scheduling software ([login to view URL]). Problem is with Week View only. If I create a same day event (example: 10:00 PM to 12:00 AM) and then try to drag the bottom border of the event downwards to resize it, a page refresh will occur. After the refresh, events are no longer resizable. I tried to reattach the resizable to the dom event elements. However, I am getting an error saying $(...).resizable is not a function. I noticed the same problem occurs if I drag an event. After a drag, the page refreshes and the events are no longer resizable. They can be resized by dragging either the top or bottom border of an event. They can be dragged up and down. Project is to fix this so that events are resizable after the jquery page refresh. Refreshing the page without jquery is unacceptable. We must go this route so the entire Calendar does not reload.
