Create Chain Selects field for Joomla Categories

Hello, I understand your point to make it like joomla 1.5 sections and categories. But in this we must have to do custom code in core files. So when we change in core files at that time when joomla updates our change will be gone and we have to replace old file. Let me know if that okay for you.
