Hi, please let me give you a detailed background – I purchased a 14 year old Joomla website ([login to view URL]) at the beginning of the year. It is a huge website for thousands of pages! I have no experience of Joomla or website building so I sourced technical support through Freelancer to conduct some website changes, specifically updating some of the modules and updating to the latest version of Joomla (plus some other smaller updates). However halfway through the project the freelancer stopped contacting me and things are half finished. Also, I have noticed some website problems:
* My good SEO rankings (eg. number 1 ranking for keywords such as for ‘rock bars’ etc) have disappeared
* When I search Google for ‘Metal Travel Guide’ I see a link for [login to view URL], but not [login to view URL] What is qww?!
* As I do not understand the technical side I am not sure how much of the original work was completed, and how much work is still outstanding.
This Project is to ask for a review of the original Project, review the transcript of all conversations with the previous freelancer, check the work that was done, complete the work was not finished, and advise about some of problems I mention above. I would also be interesting to hear any other advise about how to improve / update the website (please remember I have no knowledge of Joomla or website creation). I can provide the full transcript / conversations with the previous freelancer - this should help to identify what work was or was not done, and maybe help identify some of the problems.
Following this project I need much more work on the website, including a complete website redesign, a review and purge of all website data, ongoing technical support, marketing support etc. So if I find a trustworthy and competent company / individual for this project, there is an opportunity for continued work on the website. When you respond to this project I would be interested to hear if you are keen to build a longer term relationship, and what experience you have.

we had a look at the provided site and did notice the added qww to the website address. this is a redirection that the developer added that we can rectify. there are also some navigation problems that are as a result of errors in plugins. The website still needs to be migrated from Joomla 2.5 to Joomla 3.6 but that can be done first then the errors fixed. Ideally this should be done in a test environment first to ensure ni errors then the test site can be migrated. this avoids errors on the live site. We are a small team looking for long term relationships with new clients and this is a very good opportunity for us.
