Extract encrypted file using matlab script given and do some implementation work

Although I totally understand your Matlab code, I am not sure about what you need, especially regarding the XLSX file. Not sure if you want to summarize the data of the DAT files into the XLSX file or if you are going to use some information from the XLSX file for the summarized data. Anyway, your Matlab file seems incomplete and some variable are not used anywhere in the code. It would be great if you had provided a brief of what you need to accomplish with the code. Well, I have experience in logic and programming. Any language is only a matter of understand its conceptual basis. During my graduation in the Electrical Engineering major I developed many Matlab scripts, complex and simple. Also I am a programmer for more than 20 years, from COBOL to the visual languages.
