Just Phrase It - Mobile App

Phrase application in 12 languages, whit 12 categories each. The task is to write as plain as possible Javascript application, preferably without using ( heavy) framework or library (to make the app lighter and run faster). *Specially don´t like to use jQuery Mobile (it´s slow). The app connects to local databases and displays content based on selection. User can select languages and category to show phrases. All content is ready in XML format and should be imported to the app, so the app can work offline. If you have iPhone search for "Just Phrase it" (by IT media). It might not work in the first launch (and that problem needs to be fixed), so just close the app and open it again. There you can see how it works and what needs to be fixed (the graphics on the side). The plan is to use the Javascript with Phonegap for Apple and other software for Android and Windows. It know some stuff about HTML5, CSS3 but not so much about Javascript, so that is the main focus (javascript). This it stage 1 and later I plan to add google translate API to the app so the right person should be comfortable using google translate API and plan for that from the beginning.
