Document Scnning Program

We are looking to have a single program developed that will undertake the following: Scan A4/A3 documents from a TWAIN Compliant Scanner with sheet feeder. Covert a batch of completed scans to a single PDF document. Allow the user to create the PDF file name and location for storage of the file. As these PDF files are created the program will show how much % of a CDR / DVD recordable disk is required for the PDF files completed. Once the operator decides to commit these files to CD/DVD, the operation to record the files to disk takes place from within the program eg. No use of third party programs such as NERO/ Roxio etc. Once the record operation is complete a verification of the files recorded against the files on the hard drive is undertaken, if this verifaction is OK then the files can purged from the system. We would prefer that the entire operation takes place via a 1024 x 768 touch screen, this would include a virtual keyboard for data entry. Full control of the scanner settings will be required. Full control of the CD / DVD recorder settings will be required. We would prefer the programming to be undertaken in VB.NET O/S compatibility would be Win2k / XP
