We have two issues here. The first is an emergency fix required: 301 An Error Has Occured!: Unable to open [login to view URL] We get this error on the YaBB message board instead of seeing the old messages. Website is: [login to view URL] and click on "Forum." The second issue are simple changes to the forum that require no real coding knowledge, we just don't have the time: 1) Add moderator(s) from the board (El Capitan, aka danger1Ranger2 has volunteered, and no one has objected). We can seek out others if you want. 2) Lock Announcements so that only moderators, band members, and management have access to post on it. 3) Change the description of the Announcements forum to :"Announcements from the band, management, and site moderators on what's happening." (or something simlar) 4) Change the description of the Jenny Says forum to :"For all Cowboy Mouth related questions, discussions, and sharing (music, setlists, impressions, experiences, etc.)" (or something similar) 5) Add a sticky topic to the top of the Jenny Says forum that says explains forum expectations (no swearing etc) and perhaps has a welcome note from the band or from other forum users. Lock this topic. (I am happy to help write a welcome, if needed.) 6) Re-open the old Everybody Loves Jill forum. 7) Change the description of the Everybody Loves Jill forum to: "For all topics un-related to the band." (or something similar) 8) Add (it used to be there, so you may not have to add it) a sticky topic at the top of the Everybody Loves Jill Forum that says explains forum expectations (no swearing etc). Lock this topic.
