This Joomla project is standing still due to template issues. Originally, we used the Lunar Eclipse template because the red navigation buttons on the left make a dramatic impact that enhances the subject matter. I am not committed to using so much black, but the red is something I want to keep: [login to view URL] When frustrations implementing the template arose, I posted a project saying I would only accept bids from people who are Joomla experts with ratings. I was disappointed with the bidding and closed the project. I went to the Joomla forum and posted a question. One person said the Lunar Eclipse template is the pits and cannot display certain things in FF and is totally hopeless in Safari. This opinion was reinforced by two others. One person suggested I join [login to view URL] and use either Carbonite or BentoBox dark template. The problems with Lunar Eclipse were not corrected by BentoBox and we lost the gorgeous red buttons, but we gained a few things, including MonoSlide which seems ideal for my purposes. Meanwhile, I studied all the templates. I really like Technopia: [login to view URL] At this point, I want to concentrate on making the template display correctly. I want to get rid of stock images and Lorem ipsum text. This is clutter but the real problem is to get the template to support the design. Then, we can replace stock images with customized ones that my graphic designer can make. In short, this project is not about design but about making the template support the display. Please read this carefully: Joomla has lots of modules and it works. The required features are installed. We have a flash header but the template requires modification. Do not bid as if this were a major Joomla A-Z project. Sorry if I sound stressed, but this project has been challenging.
