Hi, Thanks for posting the project. I can create 1. Two category attribute (Display Static Block? Y / N ). 2. Block name (Text field) And if you select yes (Y), and enter the value of the static block in text field, then that static block will be displayed on that particular category or sub category. Dear there, I read your requirement and found that we can help you in this task. There are 3 solutions for this task. 1) You can define CMS block in categories/subcategories via admin->Manage Categories/Subcategories section. 2) We can put static condition in magento file where it restrict to show for specified categories/subcategories but its static condition and you can't change it. 3) We can create new custom extension where you can define categories/subcategories and relevant static block from there. Please let me know how do you want to go with. I believe 1st option is works for you but we need to check it from admin panel.
