I am developing an information portal and need to have the system built to a high standard.
I need site visitors to be wowed by the look and functionality.
I have a very good idea what i want the end result to look like and in most cases will provide
an html version of the pages. I am also open to ideas on how the site look, feel and functionality
can be improved.

Depending on how this project goes i will be looking to form a long term relationship with
the successful bidder on other projects.
To successfully bid for this project you should have excellent knowledge and experience of the
following:
script installation and adaptation,php, mysql, database design, web design, flash, style sheets, content management systems,
action scripts,design for SEO and website security.
Viewable past work/porfolio is a must.
References may be required
Use of open source code is permitted subject to prior [login to view URL] may be required
viewable use of open source adaptation experience may be required
references to other websites,organisations or idividuals is not permitted within the codong
programmer must be able to carry out all aspect of the coding and integrate it to the rest of
the site i.e. no pinching of sripts etc from third parties.
Shortlist of chosen coders will be given location of sample and asked for feedback on bid.
The site is divided into modules each with two or more categories.
admin should be able to grant access to module area or specific area within module.
i.e access to one module's admin will not necessarily grant access to another. Modules
should be designed so stand on their own as changes to one module should not affect the
others. i.e access to one module's admin will not necessarily grant access to another
It could also be designed with expected addition of further modules.
Categories within modules should also be designed so the removal or addition of one category does
not affect the other categories. i.e. design with max number of categories setup for each module.
admin can assign category [login to view URL] one cat is unpublished the others move up one.
Full documentation and 45 day after completion support will be required.
All code will need to be signed off.(except in case of open source)
Violation of third party copyright is not acceptable
for any pages or categories that are not available and with no clear idea, the location of
a close similarity to expected end product will be given.

phase one:
-CMS design and installation, site look, layout, interaction, graphics etc for all
current modules and home page.
registration setup front and back end.
database design, banner managegement setup,
-setup of access to admin area for whole site which is never visible by users.
-The contractor will install and test all components
-The project will be viewable online(on contractors server) during work so it can be viewed
and tested as work progreesses.
-very short progress updates will be required(few lines e-mail will do)
-The contractor will also provide 45 day after sales support after completion of design
and installation

design of back end databases and and front end interface on required categories

jobsearch(database) backend requires agent access to update
graduate jobs(simple datbase)

phase 1 covers mainly graphics, design and content management system implementation
aspect with small database work. Stage 2 is mainly to do with the database design and implementation.
a sample site will be provided and instructions on what is expected from each section given
where a sample is not provided a close similarity of anticipated end result will be given.
The end product must match expectation.
