Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5 upgrade

For a customer of ours we need to: 1) Upgrade a Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 2.5 site, including modules/components: Modules: - mod_mainmenu - mod_jdmtree15 - mod_latestnews - mod_custom - mod_pixsearch - mod_gcalendar - mod_gcalendar_upcoming - mod_TwitterShow - mod_cblogin - mod_slick_rss Components: - Community Builder - Docman 2) Convert to a new template (template has already been converted to Joomla 2.5) with the current articles/modules/documents etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Notes: # Templates There are two templates: - Login area page (website is only accessible after logging in -> intranet) - Website page (12 menu items + submenu items) # Testing environment It is important that the customer can continue working on the current Joomla 1.5 area. If the upgrade cannot take place in one weekend (outside business hours), it is necessary that the upgrade has to be done in a testing environment which has to be synced with all new data/documents (Joomla 1.5 site) once the switch to the Joomla 2.5 takes place. # Design Some small css/design modifications have to be made, for example the login area, so everything will fit in the same layout. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important: Please specify how you will handle this project briefly (I.e. Upgrade current Joomla version in test area.. or convert data to new installation, synchronization, etc.) in a few steps so I can communicate the procedure to my customer. Time frame is also useful.
