I am putting a site together for a small startup business.
I will be selling a service that requires a client to send in a photo, which I will restore and then send them a digital file.
I can design the site, and also do all html and a fair amount of php, but the following would take me too long to figure out:
CLIENT JOB TRACKING SYSTEM
-client registration, with username and password recovery
-client login to private area which shows past and current jobs
-job order system
workflow is like this: client orders a job by making selections on a form. There are prices, and options they can select. This would generate a custimized order form with a job number that shows their pricing for this job. They print it out, fill in the credit card info, sign it, etc and send it in with the job via fedex or USPS. It would be great if they could also get a link to fedex or UPS or USPS with my shipping info already setup (like ebay does it)
client can view progress of job online, and also the tracking number (which I would input once I have it). And finally, client will be able to view and download the images (which are my product) from their area when they click on the given job. I would dump the finished files in a subfolder in their main directory that would have this job number as the name-- there are some easy auto thumbnail php scripts out there.
If you need more explanation, please ask!
