I need a program to download stock quotes from free sources on the Internet and insert them into a MySQL database. The program will run on a Linux server and will be started at 4:05PM EST every day and must finish executing by 4:20PM EST. If the program dies halfway, then the remaining data should be updated the next time it runs. I need the following tables/fields. I have added an explanation showing where to get this data from Yahoo: Table: daily (daily end of day pricing) symbol (the stock symbol) name (the underlying company name - the one displayed across the top in Yahoo) date (the date when this data was current - in Yahoo it's called Trade Time) open (the Open price - same name on Yahoo) high (2nd number of Day's Range in Yahoo) low (1st number of Day's Range in Yahoo) close (in Yahoo this is called Last Trade) volume (the number of shares traded) Table: history This has the same fields as `daily`, but you need to maintain exactly 1 year of data (up to 250 rows per stock). There is also a computed field called 'change' which is (x-y)/y where X is the prior Close and Y is the last Close. Table: share_info symbol (same as above) date (same as above) shares_out (parse the Market Cap value and divide it by Last Trade) dividend_ttm_ps (first number in Div & Yield) dividend_frequency (from the tab 'Historical Prices' on the left side of the Yahoo screen, click Dividends Only and then count how many were paid in the last 365 days) earnings_ttm_ps (from Yahoo field EPS (ttm)) Table: symbols Do not update this table. This table contains the list of stocks (approximately 7,500) that need to be updated by the program.

* * *1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
