Design and implement a database for a lecture booking system. The system is for a lecture course study. This is where customers sign up for new courses and qualifications. There is a range of courses available to choose from and only a limited number of seats available for each course. The system should be able to book customers into lecture sessions. However since the class gets so busy, they system must be able to check how many seats are available before making a booking, and when booking a seat for a student they must be able to make group bookings and be able to allocate seats in the order that the customer requires. The system should be able to make on the spot booking and be able to calculate the cost for the bookings made by the customers. There will be different rates for different customers. The system should have some sort of a login system for admin and staff. The system should be able to print reports showing the percentage capacity of each course taken for each day. The system should be able to store additional information about courses, including pictures in the database. Provide all the necessary system maintenance functions, including facility to upload course schedule and course information. And finally the system should be able to produce some graphical interface for the seating plan.
