Membership Software & Custom Billing

Project is a 2 part project - we will need Joomla installed on our website (or after you read our spec sheet if you recommend something else that's ok), and also custom billing software. ## Deliverables Section 1: Introduction: This is a spec sheet that has 2 items that are needed in programming; Joomla Software (or Other Membership Software) explained in Section 2, and Custom Billing that is explained in Section 3. With our program that we are setting up, our customers will get access to a monthly membership area that will give them access to online downloads, and receive a physical package in the mail. Please read on for a more detailed description of what is needed in both the membership software and the custom billing Section 2: Joomla Software/Other Membership Software We would like to use the Joomla software for our membership program. However, if you know of something that is better fitted for our needs, please let us know. Here is what we need the membership software to do (whether we use Joomla or something else): - Deliver everything online - Items that will be included for membership area will be newsletters, audios, bonus downloads - Need timed, sequential delivery of content. For example, every member will begin with Step 1, but they won’t see Step 2 until they’ve been a member for 30 days, they won’t see Step 3 until they’ve been a member for 60 days, etc. - Need an autoresponder function ??" we need the ability to send sequenced, scheduled emails to members. (For example, one email that we will send would be “your account will be billed in x days??). We want to load these emails ahead of time, and have them go out at the appropriate interval that we determine in the software. - Affiliate software ??" we would need an affiliate add-on in the membership software as well. Affiliate program should offer tracking, and complete affiliate management. (Ability for our customers to easily recruit new members, automatically give them an affiliate link, track commissions based on the commission structure we determine). We will also want an affiliate back office for our affiliates to sign into so that they can access our affiliate resources (such as emails that we load in, banner ads, etc) - Need a shipping system within membership software. We want the ability to easily export (or just access directly in the admin area) for a list that is due to be shipped their monthly DVD, and which volume they are set to receive. For example, if the customer is brand new, they will be on ‘Step 1’ so we would need to know that they need to be shipped Volume 1 DVD. 30 days after signing up, they need to show up in this same log stating that they are ready to be shipped Volume 2 DVD. 60 days later after signing up, they need to show up in this same log stating that they are ready to be shipped Volume 3 DVD, and so on. However…anyone that declines in their monthly payment or cancels their membership should be omitted completely from this list. Section 3: Custom Billing - Custom billing ??" have the ability to bill using [login to view URL] (i.e. accept credit cards) - Custom billing begins via an online salesletter. They will order online, and we need the custom billing to charge the new members $7.95 for shipping and handling for the initial physical DVD that they are shipped. - Ability to bill these customers $99/month starting 30 days after signing up - Ability to retry billing for any declines X amount of times - And if customer still declines after X amount of times, customer needs to be automatically deactivated in the membership software - We need a function to allow our members to update their billing information securely - We need a cancellation function which will cancel members, stop future billing, deactivate membership area access, and remove them from the shipping system. We do not want this function in the member’s area, only allowed by admin. Section 4: Functional Requirements Finished project will have the membership software that includes an admin area, member login area with ability to send out timed content, autoresponder system, shipping system, affiliate software with administration area and affiliate back office area. Finished project will also have custom billing feature as outlined in Section 3. Section 5: Communication We request all communication to be done directly through Private Message using RentACoder. This project has a deadline of August 10th, 2009, and we request that we kept up to date on your progress with daily communications. We consider this project completed when all features have been approved and tested by a member of our staff.
