I am looking at having a php script that will Convert CVS file into MySQL.
(PLEASE NOTE THIS SPEC WILL CHANGE OVER THE NEXT FEW DAY AS THE CLIENT IS STILL NOT SURE ABOUT HIS REQUIREMENTS.)
These are the requirements
1 - The script must be PHP
2 - the CSV file will have field headers
3 - the CSV file will sometimes and wil not sometimes have an index
4 - the PHP Script file must convert the CVS file and pull it into the MySQL database with the Fields names the same as the CSV file but it must add an index field with autoupdate.(becuase sometiems the CSV file does not have an index field. this must be easy to edit to switch of this feature)
it must also ad or update a fields called Client. this record for each line must be updated with the name of the CSV file in each and every line of the record for that table
To check If the CSV file has been not injected into the database a previous time the PHP script must compare the lines and inject only what is not in the MySQL database.
The PHP converter must then write a log file to a text file format and report the last record number after the injection of the CSV file data using the CSV file name as file name for the text file
This must not be human operated..... it must run automatically (server instigated) and look for new CSV file in a subdirectory within or under the root where the php script lies. ie... /public_html/converter/received_files/
I am not sure about the rate but I have chosen $100 to $600 if i am out of line with the price please explain why
