School Matching Your project is interesting and I'd love to try to tackle it. What makes it interesting is the fact there are two distinct approaches: one way is to data scrape and find data to try and estimate a supply and demand curve or to design the algorithm from the ground up with the specifications you desire. The second is the approach I bet we would take and it sounds like a bunch of fun...but that gets me to the bad news... Bad news: Your budget is too small for this project. The bulk of the work is in the conceptualization, which will involve us co-creating and clearly defining the specs. Then I'll take those requirements and develop an algorithm that fulfills the requirements. Next will be the building phase where the algorithm is actually coded. Lastly, the test phase where we run the algorithm against various simulations to see how it would preform with real data. As you can guess all that work, to be done correctly and well will cost more than $250. I quoted you $500, but that is just to highlight my bid a bit. We should talk about what you can afford. I am a computer science PhD student with a lot experience in statistics. The project is quite simple and I can do it for you fairly quickly if you only need the "future download predictor" and "price generator" parts of the code. If you need me to implement your website for you I would need more details on that to give you a proper price and time estimate.

Hi, I can help you find a formula that meets your needs but I believe you need an algorithm with fine tuning so that you can control the price variation based on people intuition rather than only some dynamic self computed parameters using a function of song popularity and buyer history.
