We are seeking a serious Developer, Individual or Company with more than 7 years experience in the e-commerce, classifieds and auction site creation and deployment arena. Must have experience with PHP, MySQL, V3, Eclipse, Magneto, Javascript and most recognizable e-commerce platforms. Excellent English communications skills, both oral and written, are required. We are looking for a clean and smart, well functioning site that is user-friendly enough for your grandmother. Effectively an etsy clone with components of ebay auction and classifieds. This project is catering to an environmental solution, therefore we require the candidate to be genuinely interested in making a positive impact in our environmental wellbeing. Our Key decision drivers: - You must prove you are PHP, MySQL, V3, Magento wizard (LAMP environment). If you have developed Magento, V3 extensions or created a multi-vendor marketplace; show me links and please provide admin access. Working sites not demos! -You must explain the programming language you suggest this project will be written in and defend this language against other popular languages. We require front-end design with a Westerner’s global eye, with the feel and usability of etsy and ebay. We are looking for an individual or company that can understand our objective, ask any/all questions, provide great enhancement ideas and get it done. He or she must: -have passion for delivering an elegant code and best practices in terms of website development -be up-to-date on ‘cutting-edge’ e-commerce and classifieds trends and technologies -be a self-starter who can work in a team or a company that works as a real team unit. -have an internal sense of integrity, discipline, and organization -Has a Westerner’s global eye for design. -Has genuine interest in the state or our environment Our deadlines are tight and require a developer that can meet our expectations. Our selection will be based on skills, experience, communication, comprehension of project, timeliness, references, quality of portfolio and price. We have had good working relationships with those from the Philippines and Eastern Europe and strongly recommend them applying for this position. Our budget for Phase 1 is $6000 - $7500.
