Site: FelisLynx.com. We would like to create a social networking and multimedia management service. We want to implement OpenSocial and Open ID standards as well as open up our network for outside developers to create applications for our users to use. (Similar to Facebook/MySpace applications.) The site will have to be developed to handle large amounts of traffic as we grow the site. So it needs to be scalable. Some use of open-source coding is acceptable… we would like to know what is open-source and what is 100% custom development. The idea is to build a site that is very user friendly and also easy for the user to completely customize and build their own experience on our site through the ability to add and remove applications that are built by us and applications that are built by 3rd parties. one of the apps we definitely need developed is a video recording, uploading & sharing application. (YouTube type).
