Order System Notification App

Our software product licensing system, iono - [login to view URL] - is completed web based (PHP/MySQL). We would like to provide a simple application to sit in the system tray (or equivalent) which pops up notifications Requirements: * Ability to connect using an existing administrator account. * The application should minimise to the system tray (or OS equivalent) and provide a small popup window whenever a) an order is placed, b) an order is completed c) a license status changes (e.g. license is expired). The popups must be optional for each a, b and c. * The interface must be very clean and tidy. I would like it to look similar to this example: [login to view URL] with the option to have the 'Office 2003' look and 'Native Windows' look. At present there is no way to work with the iono data unless ou connect directly to the MySQL database. This is not the best way to do it so we would create an interface that could be used for the application to communicate with the web system. . Finally, this project must include (basic) documentation and bug fixing support - if a user submits a bug we expect it to be fixed promptly. We use our own internal bug tracker system. Ideally, there should be a built in option to report bugs. ## Deliverables Rent A Coder requirements notice: As originally posted, this bid request does not have complete details. Should a dispute arise and this project go into arbitration "as is", the contract's vagueness might cause it to be interpreted against you, even though you were acting in good-faith. So for your protection, if you are interested in this project, please work-out and document the requirements onsite. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform This must work on Windows XP (SP2) and support for older versions of Windows would be ideal. If support can be built in the Mac and Linux, that would be good.
