The goal is very simple for someone that knows the Win DDK. I need to create a virtual audio cable in a driver. This basically means that you are adding a sound card to the system. The microphone for this sound card is the output of whatever goes over the speakers. The Output for this virtual sound card is mixed with the microphone.
For example, if I have an application that loads the virtual sound driver and starts to record it will be nothing but null values because nothing is playing. If I load Windows Media Player and play a song through the speakers, it will still go to the speakers but a copy also goes into my program because I am reading data. Imagine also that I want to record a voice chat done with Skype with this virtual audio cable.
I can provide code to handle the Resample rate if needed.
This project must be done in C or ASM using the WinDDK and a demo program must show how to install it and test it.
