I have 4 HTML 5 games I have built that I want to include in a community website I own. However I want to prevent client side cheating in the game as the games are played for points on the website. I am looking for a method to either prevent the cheating all together or simply slow the reverse engineering down so that the scores/variables in the game can be checked before the player is able to cheat. The games are all client side. However I can host them anyway should the anticheat method require any changes.

I love hacking, as I really like finding badly written games, which have zero security. I understand how those things work, I understand how you hack a game. Thus, I know how you can protect your game from being hacked. Because you might not choose me, but I still like to help, I'll tell you something VERY important: never ever trust the client side. Ever. If you implement your security only on the client side - your game will be hacked. There's no exceptions. So the security should be put on the server side. Feel free to ask me to hack your games, to make sure they are secure.

Hello. I know several techniques that can help you minimize or eliminate cheating on your online games. Some of them can be applied to clientside only games but some others require a server controlling the actions.
