Create a Wordpress Template using design and style from existing website

Project Summary: This project is to take an existing website’s design and create a WordPress template from it. This WordPress install will function as the blog portion of the existing website, and will sit in the directory “/blog”. The goal of the project is to create a seamless transition between the existing website and the new WordPress template. Project Details: • The existing website’s HTML and CSS should be used as the foundation for the new WordPress template. The expectation is the transition between the main website and WordPress install must be seamless, and to accomplish this the developer should reuse as much of the CSS as is practical. • The developer will be provided with a PSD showing the designs for the index, category/search, single-post templates. The developer will use the PSD to create these views. • There will be a portion of the header that will allow members to login to the home website (not the WordPress login function). This code will be provided to the developer and should plug and play within the template. • There may be 1 to 2 custom post types • Light customization will be needed to the admin area to introduce theme settings • Our knowledgeable staff of developers will be reviewing all outsourced developer work for quality control. Outsourced developers should expect immediate and professional feedback, and in turn be expected to complete the project to a high level of quality.
