Create a vehicle service software solution for mobile mechanics

We operate a number of vehicles that provide an on-site service for our customers. Our mechanics and technicians visit remote parts of Australia to carry out servicing in accordance with the customer's requirements and our own technical guidelines. Attached to this project is a PDF version of the service sheet that they currently print and complete by hand. We have recently purchased a Panasonic tough tablet, running windows 10. Using this we would like the service staff to be able to complete the information electronically and also to capture some additional information. The tablet specification is as follows: Panasonic ToughPad FZ-G1 10.1" 1920x1200 display Intel i5 8GB RAM 4G connectivity The software must: 1) Use a large text size the appears at least 6mm on-screen at a 1920x1200 resolution. 2) Operate with the tablet screen in landscape orientation to allow the use of the detachable physical keyboard. 2) Upon startup the software must present the user with a welcome page that allows them to input their personal details and the job details. A Home button must be provided on each screen to come back to the home page. 3) At the welcome page they must be able to select which area of interest they would like to go to. For example, the "electrical" or "hydraulic" section. A Back button must be provided to go to the previous screen. 4) It must display the % complete so that they know how much more they must do. 5) No scrolling should be required. If there are too many questions in that section, it should be broken into several pages with easy forward/backward buttons provided. 6) Allow the user to capture images with the tablet's camera from within the software. 7) Save the GPS location of where the data is completed using the Windows locator API and internal GPS receiver. 8) Allow the staff member and customer to sign to accept the work using the tablet pen 9) Upon completion of the data, it must be populated to a word document or PDF, presented in a similar manner to the attached sample. 10) It should be possible to email the information to a pre-defined address upon completion of the form. The software must have a simple "Email now" button so it is sent with no other input from the user (Outlook will be installed in the background.) 11) It should allow the user to select from 3 different pre-defined customer names. Upon selecting a different customer, some of the questions/answers will change. 12) If the user inputs a value which is not correct, a warning message should be displayed. The limits and correct values will be driven by a spreadsheet to allow admin to change them easily if required. The values will be different for each customer. 13) All photographs and the output data must be saved in a folder in a pre-defined location on the tablet. When the job is started a new folder shall be created using the job number as the folder name. This should happen automatically with no input from the user. We will use dropbox to upload the content of the folders when the tablet returns to our wi-fi network. 14) It must be easy to use for people that are not PC literate and are working under stressful conditions. 15) It must be simple and reliable. 16) It must not look like a spreadsheet - It must look like the attached example screen layouts. 17) It should save data each time the user navigates to the next page.
