Design a Motel Reservation and Billing System that will be implemented in a two motel chain.

This will be done in six steps: 1. Interview the Motel Management to get all the necessary information to develop a detailed proposal. This will be done by the entire team. Develop a detailed proposal to be presented to management describing the system planned. 3. Prepare a flowchart of the design indicating the major applications. Flowchart the major applications indicating the components required for each app I:i. cati on" 4. Develop the detail design for the system. This should include flowcharting as required, and pseudo code as required to do the actual coding. 5. Prepare a procedures book that describes the system and provides instructions to implement and run the system. Procedures should be at three levels, management level, operator level, and user (desk clerk) level. 6. Write the code for the system, run, and debug the code. The class will be divided up into teams of three to four individuals. All the work will be done as teams, and the grade for the course will be given at the team level, modified by any observations of the instructrn- relative to individual participation in the team (or lack thereof). The class will meet every class'session for discussion of progress and questions that may have come up. The length of each class session will be based upon the need at that point as determined by the instructor. The system shoOld be capable of handling reservations for both existing motels and for any additional motels [login to view URL] may be added. The system should also handle all billings for the guests, with payment by means of cash, credit card, and approved corporate charge accounts.
