Frontend and backend dev for database type web app

I understand that maintaining access as frontend and SQL server backend can be a cumbersome job. My suggestion would be let's keep SQL Server as backend and use ASP.Net as frontend. It will be 100% web based. I would like to have more information about the access frontend to do an effort estimation. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi I have reviewed the project description and it seems like the solution is being used locally and is not available on Internet. The program is hosted on a local system from where it pulls the data Daceasy pervasive database and imports it into a SQL database. As per the complete technical description it seems like the technology is old and thus there is a bright possibility that the features provided may also need to be upgraded. So the best solution would be to build an entire new system though importing the data which is already there in this old system. As per the description, it seems like just an Invoicing solution is required. We have already build this solution. We would recommend features like: 1. Client Management (where they can add/edit/delete the clients, these would then be automatically pulled in the invoice and there wouldn't be any need to create them again & again) 2. Product Management (where they can add/edit/delete the products, these would then be automatically pulled in the invoice and there wouldn't be any need to create them again & again) 3. Invoice Management (where they can add/edit/delete the invoices) 4. I'd be interested to know what your current server stack looks like. This seems like it would be a great use case for a Linux based solution possibly using Laravel as the backend. Open to suggestions though. I would probably attempt to rebuild the database in MySQL and migrate the data.

I am new here, so a good outcome and positive feedback is even more important than usual. I am happy to host the database for you as well. One year included in this price. I would suggest looking carefully at what you have got (by me). Keeping working parts or reworkable parts. Probably keeping MS Access as front end in the office. Talking to or replicating to data access tables on hosted Microsoft Sharepoint or Microsoft Azure SQL or a Hosted SQL Server database. I have all 3.
