We are a low budget NGO that needs to install some software on a virtual server in order to grow our agency. We have decided with Casebox. CaseBox is an open-source framework for developing custom content management solutions. The web client is built in ExtJS, the server side is written in PHP. MySql database is used for storing the data, and SOLR search engine to index it (allowing fast full-text searches and faceting). Office file previews (Microsoft Office, LibreOffice) are generated on the serverside using LibreOffice. CaseBox is hosted at GitHub. For production, use the master. branch. Latest development version is under devel branch. [login to view URL]
