Recruitment assistant The project in hand is such that EFS requires the assistance of an entrepreneurially minded individual to act as the EFS "Recruitment Director". The task is entirely home based and can be carried out according to your own work schedule, hence this can be a part-time activity, albeit one that will still call for a concerted and regular effort. The purpose is to locate prospective Investment Counsellors: this can be achieved by means of using online social media, existing connections, online directories, networking, etc. etc. all with a global reach. The individuals sourced do not necessarily need to have had previous investment counselling/sales experience but if not there should be a history of some success in a sales capacity with the person also having a basic understanding as to how mutual funds 'work'. The attributes for an ideal candidate can be summarised thus: 1) Individuals who enjoy meeting new people and providing information as regards saving for childrens' college/university costs, retirement security etc. etc. Assisting with capital gains planning, and general estate planning. 2) Education: Many successful Investment Counsellors possess at least a bachelors degree. However it is more important that there is a high degree of numeracy and literacy in place. English will be the main language due to the fact that all the 'promotional' literature is in english. 3) Skills Needed: Although a candidate might consider this opportunity because he/she is strong in mathematics or have a knack for the markets, the most important attribute for success is sales ability. The first task for an Investment Counsellor is to locate prospective clients by networking, direct approach, social media etc. and thereby build a 'book' of business. If the candidate is not naturally gregarious, a 'people person' and an insatiable networker, the odds for success are reduced ! Being relaxed and 'good' with people is the single most important skill for basically anyone working under the broad umbrella of financial counselling/advising. 4) Income: The average annual income for full time Investment Counsellors is circa $70,000. But depending on effort and performance, the income can be far higher. EFS is a long standing international boutique Investment Counselling firm. The current project is to have in place, within the next 12 months, five good quality individuals all on a contracted self employed basis. And by the end of 24 months to have built up to ten such people. All worldwide locations are available with the exception of the UK, Spain and France. The current EFS "Product Providers" are: 1) Zurich International. ( for existing clients ) 2) Friends Prov. International. ( for existing clients ) 3) Generali International. ( for existing clients ) 4) Old Mutual International. ( for new and existing clients ) 5) RL360 ( for new and existing clients ) 6) Custodian Life ( for new and existing clients ) 7) Investors Trust ( for new and existing clients ) With ( 6 ) and ( 7 ) all case processing is carried out electronically which speeds up the process of getting a case set up and the counsellor being paid enormously as well as you as Recruitment Director ! EFS also has a "white label" website for use regards its Terms of Business (TOB) with "Capital Platforms" as well as TOB in place with the Guinness Fund Management Group and Neba Financial Solutions for structured Investments. The offer for suitable candidates: 1) 4.2% on single premium business. 2) 60% of the full EFS commission ( ie. including EFS override ) on regular savings business. 3) Full ownership of clients introduced ( ie. if an individual wishes to 'spin off' to do their 'own thing' then he/she will be entitled to 'take' their introduced clients without any 'buy out' issues etc ). 4) Full back office support to minimise the admiministrative burden for the EFS 'consultant' ensuring that the counsellor/consultant can maximise his/her efforts on securing new business. The offer for yourself: 1) 20 % of the amount being earned by the financial advisor. This to be ongoing and open-ended. Eg. for as long as one of your “appointees" is working within the EFS network your % will continue to apply. The 'policing' of this arrangement can be easily & satisfactorily evidenced. If the target of ten appointments were to be met then your income would build up and then level off, ( based on a relatively low average Investment Counsellor income of say $50,000 p.a.) at $100,000 per annum. It is inevitable that there would be some 'turn over' of counsellors but even if this 'turn over' was as high as 20% this would leave you only having to 'top up' the EFS network with two people per annum ! However the task is not an easy one and you would probably be doing well if you managed to ‘put on’ four people within the first 12 months ! But even at that level this could mean an ongoing income for yourself of $40,000 p.a. As mentioned above, the process of locating suitable candidates is not necessarily an easy one and also the lead time prior to your first commission payments arriving could be a month or so following each counsellor 'appointment'. And this lead time is on top of the time you will have spent in the first place in finding someone who does wish to proceed to join the EFS network. Hence you do need to ensure that your current day to day living costs are already being met by any other source of income that you are enjoying. Also it may be as well to point out, that with EFS having had a poor previous experience, that there is no interest on part of EFS in paying any form of 'up front' retainer/fee etc. The deal being proposed is entirely a results based one.
