Receive a Streaming JSON feed from a TCP Socket and outputted to a external JSON file.

We have a piece of software which runs on local machine, and outputs a JSON stream to a TCP port. We need to connect to the machine via a TCP port. Next we have to send some parameters to the server, and the retrieve the JSON feed stream, which we want to output to an external JSON file. The stream from the software is running continuously, but we need to send the data to the external file everytime the message reads BOXSCORE. We have tried Web Based languages, and they will not work. We have started programming using Python and we can establish the connection to the server, we are just unable to output the JSON stream to the console or external file. (This script needs to be run continuously) The following criteria will need to be met 1 - Connection to server (software) needs to be established first, and the following message needs to be sent {"type": "parameters", "types": "box"} 2 - Outputted JSON needs to be written to external file everytime the message type=boxscore shows in the feed. 2 - Program needs to run continuously as it will be for statistics for a sports match, and we can't have it going down.
