Serial Terminal

I have a piece of Serial Hardware RS232 that has an embedded program. I want a Windows program written in Delphi Win32 using a Third Party Serial Component nrcomm lib. I will buy a licence for my pc. Currently using Delphi XE2 on my pc. I have high speed internet for Remote VNC or RDP connection. The program in question will build a Windows Terminal with all the required config dialogs, eg comport no, baud rate, data bits and stop bits etc. It will have a database aware text dialog that will look up an appropriate record and send it as a text string with a crc validator. This software will be required to calculate checksum hex strings at runtime. I have the information and sample code that works for this. I have a book of instructions on Serial Framework to communicate and interpret the decimal or hex command that comes back in the serial buffer, confirming receipt of the text string and show this in the interface. I want the software to be able to send and receive serial commands and thus interpret the feedback from the device. See attached manual. . I also want to be able send a whole library of other commands. Write registers, Delete Registers and Get Status Registers of various device connected to the serial device. The device registers are a defined table of hex strings. Thus it must be able to send data and interpret the receive data and write back to my database. In other words it must scan my devices and gather the correct parameters and setup my software for permanent use. Only those capable of doing this need apply. eg You must have the knowledge and experience in Delphi and Serial comms. English is my preferred language. Commented source code is required. Due to the nature of this job being done on my pc. I will milestone 50% to start and 50% on completion. Delphi is the preferred language as what is created will be merged into another project with the same hardware.
