Create simple text substitution windows programme.

I am dyslexic and I make the same spelling mistakes (typos really) very very regularly. Now I started to use a software programme called activewords. [login to view URL] Now I used this to replace spelling mistake when I made them. Primarily I make this one spelling mistake: woudl instead of would. Now Activewords works like a dream apart from I type fast. And if I the programme is doing the text substitution whilst I'm pushing down the shift key then it retypes the whole word in upper case WOULD, then I need to go back delete it and retype it. This is happening so frequently that I have given up using the programme as it is quicker to just correct the typo manually rather than constantly be rewriting the capitalised text. Now this programme, is very feature heavy a lot more than I need. What I would ideally like is a simpler version without this bug. Now the programme would need to do these things. * Run in the background using minimum resources. * Scan what I type and the case it's in, then do the substitutions appropriately with the capitalisation protected. * Have a manageable database I can simple add and remove phrases from I need to stress though this programme needs to run very simply. If it has things like pop up and confirmation boxes, so on it could waste more time than it saves. This isn't a big project, it something that would make my life a bit more pleasant and If this successful I would most likely want to build on it. Please give me examples of oter porject that you have done that are similar. Thanks Ed
