Profile „Secrets Of The Face“ App ** About us Our Company is specialized in human face reading. We offer our knowledge in many parts of personal and economic life. ** Goal of the project We need a complete rewrite of our software to improve its functionality, to get a contemporary solution and to offer it cross platform and also in the web. ** What we have so far: We already sell a windows-only application to our customers. This application was built as an e-learning Catalogue, including the basic contents of our knowledge. The content is organized in a simple, linear way: we have chapters, each chapter has content pages (about 230 records). Each chapter concludes with a multiple-choice test. Nearly each single page shows a virtual 3D model of a human head on the left side of the screen. This model can be manipulated by the user to show examples of different details in the human face, e.g. large vs. short nose, wide opened vs. closed eyes, thin vs. full lips etc. We differentiate between three elevations on each detail: strong, middle and weak. The model can be manipulated seamless up to the maximum and minimum values by using a slider element. Of course, the user can pan, zoom and rotate the model, or reset it to its origin position. Unfortunately some contents are not realized with the 3D Avatar, instead those pages show a flash animated movie. On the right side the user can read and scroll the corresponding text of a page. Example pages, strong and weak elevations: Additionally, a speaker speaks the text. The user can switch it off, or fast forward to the related text position. While the user interacts using the slider, the speaker speaks the corresponding text. Our Application is bilingual, english and german. ** What we need First of all – cross platform compatibility. Most of our users are Mac users, but we have a windows-only solution so far. Additionally we want to enter the tablet market. For each type of device, desktop and tablet, we need a modern user interface, fitting the requirements and user expectations on each OS. Keeping this in mind, we need an architecture that provides the possibility to reuse the core of the software for both worlds - desktops (Win 7 and above, MacOS) and tablets (Android, iOS) and the application done for Windows, MacOS, Android, iOS. We need to reach a modern level of detail with our 3D avatar(s). Shape, texture, animations and shape morphs have to be state of the art. (3D human head models, each as blender file (.blend), including all needed blend shapes and textures will be provided by us) If possible and as a new feature, we like the introductions to each chapter to be spoken lip-sync by the avatar (the 3d model of the head). The linear navigation structure we have so far needs to be extended. As long as the user is learning a catalogue - like navigation is okay. But clients will use the software later on also to dig deeper into some details. Therefore they need a full-text search option, as well as an icon based navigation with a maximum of three levels. A “return to where I stopped” function needs to be implemented. The new software must be bi-lingual, but also prepared to extended with further language packs. ** What we deliver to the development team 1. An extract of our SQL Database with about 250 records containing all relevant texts in German and English (DE and EN). 2. Speaker files in DE and EN language as mp3 files already fitted to each text 3. 3D human head models, each as blender file (.blend), including all needed blend shapes (shape morphs) and textures. 4. 3D models of human bodies, each as .blend (or 3ds) files. 5.
